chloma
works from my internship at
chloma, a japanese fashion brand funded by suzuki junya-san and sakuma reiko-san.
all the works in this page were under their direction.
showroom invitation card
following the name of the collection, "cellular", the invitation card was meant to remind the viewer of the anatomy of a cell. the background of this composition was originally used for the newsletter announcement of the new collection.
VRchat world
after the shibuya showroom, the "cellular" collection was transposed to VRchat, a software were users can use virtual reality sets to interact with each other in digital worlds. the event was called "living in a bubble" and ran for a limited amount of time. i was tasked with drafting a chloma-like space that was in line with the general idea behind the collection. after settling on a design i was tasked with modeling the main structure and some object. the VR world was crafted by
kinu-san, an artist who creates virtual installations and performs in virtual spaces.
concept art
the drafts for "living in a bubble" were inspired by sci-fi illustrations of water-covered planets and ideal, hyper-technological futures.
postcard design
this illustration was printed on special postcards that were included with the orders of the "cellular" collection.
